MUNICIPALITY of SAMI

Dear residents,

Even though there is no confirmed incident of corona virus (COVID-19) on the island yet, we would kindly request our residents not to slack. Please follow self hygiene guidelines, and avoid unnecessary transport and gatherings.

It is absolutely necessary that visitors to our island, be self-isolated for a given 14 day period. Follow the same rules for your own protection as well as out of responsibility towards the island and its people.

Though we understand confinement is neither easy nor pleasant, it is unfortunately a decision we are all called to make in order to avoid the dramatic consequences we see our fellow people suffering throughout Europe.

Times are difficult and they challenge our psychological and physical stamina. The important thing is to remain healthy and remain human.

It is known that on this island no one is ever left alone but in order to remain all together we must keep our distance !
